(MONTREAL, July 11, 2015) The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer announced 1,347 riders helped raise over $4.9 million for the Jewish General Hospital, as the seventh annual Ride commenced in Montreal on Saturday. Funds raised through Quebec’s largest cycling fundraiser supports vital cancer research, treatment, care and prevention programs at the Jewish General Hospital and its partners across Quebec.

Since 2009, the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer has raised over $37 million and is currently Quebec’s largest cycling fundraiser. Funds raised through The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer support vital cancer research, treatment, care and prevention programs at the Jewish General Hospital’s Segal Cancer Centre and other partners across Quebec. Jewish General Hospital’s Segal Cancer Centre is a leader in Quebec in implementing a focused and comprehensive approach to fighting cancer through a combination of medical treatment, patient care, family support and scientific research. The centre is one of few in the world which offers a combination of strong research and highly skilled clinicians under one roof.

Most likely you’re not used to riding such a distance in one day, then waking up the next morning and doing it all over again. So we’ll help you get ready to do just that! We organize Training Rides and provide Orientation sessions where you’ll learn more about bike basics in case you’ve never changed a bike tire or want to know the difference between a road and a mountain bike.
